Welcome behind the scenes at FPreplica, the workshop where iconic cinema objects come back to life... by hand, and with passion.
I'm a creative artisan, a great lover of the 7th art, and above all, an eternal collector frustrated by not being able to find certain legendary accessories. So, I decided to make them myself—with care, precision, and many hours spent scrutinizing every detail on screen.
Every piece you discover here is a handcrafted replica, recreated from photos and blueprints taken directly from the films. Everything is homemade, with the patience of a Jedi monk and the enthusiasm of a Goonie before a treasure.
Whether it's a fictional diary, a magic ticket, or a mysterious will, my goal is to allow you to add an authentic fragment of your favorite film to your collection.
FPreplica is therefore a sincere tribute to the objects that made us dream... and a nod to all those who, like me, love to see cinema take shape in real life.
From Legend to Resin: Making the Ahkmenrah Tablet
Each tablet begins life in my workshop, precisely hand-modeled from visuals from the film.
The mold is then cast in solid resin, for a faithful and durable finish. Once cured, each piece is sanded, assembled, and then hand-painted, layer by layer, to recreate the antique hues and aged appearance so characteristic of the original.
The doors, faithful to the mechanism seen on screen, pivot as in the film.
Each step – from casting to the final patina – is entirely handcrafted, to bring a legendary cinema object back to life in every detail.
